Personal Stuff

Just dropped three rolls off (two TriX, one Portra) to get them processed and I'll get them back tomorrow :dance: (yaya, I don't process them myself, shame on me) Erm, I've been to the darkroom twice since the last time and it's getting easier and easier. I didn't figure out the 0 gradation thing yet, because although I'm using 0 gradation, the contrast's still way too high, meh. Ordered new printing paper as well from Agfa and Ilford.

What is going on lately on dA? All I see is crap. I browse through Street > Newest, but it seems as if all great photographers are on a strike (except a few, like ~timuryueksel ). Don't even talk about Photography > Popular :+fav::+fav::+fav: for the nice colours, blur, emo-selfs, nice pose, nudes what-thefuck-ever :+fav::+fav::+fav:

komisch dass du für alles grad 0 brauchst...wie entwickelst du die negative denn?

ne. nicht für alles. brauche schon so 2 oder 2.5 (oder Split-Toning mit 2 und 5 oder 1.5 und 5). Das war bloss bei einem Print. Aber bei dem Print war der Kontrast so hoch, da habe ich es mit 0 Gradation probiert (und wollte dann anschliessen noch kurz mit Gradation 5 die Tiefen verstärken) – doch auch bei 0 war der Kontrast bereits zu hoch (Agfa APX 100).

Ich lasse die Negative vom Fachlabor entwickeln :)

:D well i don't process my own negatives...but printing in the darkroom is very easy. I've only been there three times so far and my prints don't look too bad i'd say

i am doing well today. taking my car in for an oil change in an hour. ordered some more prints for my portfolio. got a job for two days next week. life is good. :D you?

erm. ordered some jumbosize printing papers (have i already told you that?) like 20x23.5 inches big haha. i'll cut it in eight pieces though (for 5x7 prints).

oh, i was just able to log in onto msn. tried it like five times now. weather's so nice. i know. it's boring and unimaginative to talk about the weather. but having a nice weather is very very nice. like rad-nice.
