Manorom, Thailand

The moment I saw this lovely old barber shop, I immediately know I had to ban it onto my film.

The man getting a haircut looks a little like His Majesty the historic  King Rama V, or as we call this call him in the West, King Chulalongkorn, how lived more than 100 years ago.

Love this shot. Need to decide whether I'm going to get some 50 glass or some glass.

leica glass? voigtländer produces some pretty impressing glasses as well! what glass do you already have? :)

Zeiss glass. I'm currently only in possession of a 40mm 'cron and it's a bit stiff and not as sharp as the 35mm Zeiss Biogon or 35mm Leica Summicron - ideally i'd have a 35mm Summilux, but I can't afford one of them... not yet.

at the moment I've got a 50mm Summicron (newest one) and I'm also looking at a 35mm or 28mm – and I can really recommend Voigtländer since their glasses are almost as sharp as Leica's

I've never enjoyed the feel of CV glass I'm afraid... not all about sharpness. They don't feel as good to me... personal thing. I do like the feel of Zeiss glass... and Summicron glass of course. I really love how Summillux glass feels.... but... alas will not hold any of my own for a couple of years to come at least.
